💍 What is the wedding hair and makeup booking process?
We recommend booking 6–12 months in advance to secure your dream team! Here’s how it works:
- Initial Inquiry — Fill out our inquiry form with your details and questions.
- Preview Payment — Pay in advance to schedule your preview session. This pre-payment covers your trial and tentatively holds your wedding date until we meet.
- Preview Session — We’ll design your perfect hair and/or makeup look.
- Contract + Deposit — After your preview, we’ll send a contract and invoice for a 25% non-refundable deposit of your total wedding services. This officially locks in your wedding date.
- Final Payment — The remaining balance is due 7 days before your wedding day via card, cash, Venmo, or Zelle.
- Once your contract is signed and your deposit paid, your date is officially booked!
🤷♀️ I don’t have my final headcount yet. Can I still book?
Absolutely! You can reserve your date now. Your final service count isn’t due until 6 months before your wedding. Booking closer to your date? We’ll give you a shorter window to confirm numbers.
💄 When should I schedule my hair and makeup preview?
We recommend scheduling your preview 2–3 months before your wedding. That way, your look is fresh in your mind and matches details like your dress, veil, jewelry, or flowers.
🧖♀️ Is a preview required to book?
It’s not required—but it’s highly recommended, especially for brides. A preview lets us fine-tune your look and ensures you feel 100% confident and excited for your big day!
🤔 What if I want to see your work before committing?
Totally understandable! Check out our Instagram and read our reviews. We’re known for creating timeless, natural glam and listening closely to each client’s unique vision.
📸 What should I bring to my preview?
Bring:
- Inspiration photos
- Your veil, clip-in extensions, or hairpiece
- Any special jewelry or makeup must-haves
- A white or ivory top to mimic your dress color
- A fresh face and dry hair
- If you’re planning a spray tan for your wedding, try to have one before your preview too!
💁♀️ Can moms or bridal party members book a preview too?
Absolutely! Previews are optional but a wonderful way for moms, sisters, or VIPs to feel confident and pampered ahead of the big day. Just let us know who’s interested, and we’ll get them scheduled.
⏰ How long do services take?
Plan on 45 minutes per service, per person (hair or makeup). For larger parties, we’ll bring additional artists to keep everything on schedule.
🪑 What setup do you need on-site?
We’ll need:
- A table for products and tools
- One outlet per artist
- A chair for each person (barstool height for makeup, standard for hair)
- Natural light is always a plus for makeup—but not mandatory!
👯♀️ How should we prep for the big day?
Hair:- Arrive with clean, fully dry hair
- One-day unwashed hair is ideal
- Avoid flat ironing beforehand
- Curly hair? Blow-dry smooth if you don’t plan to wear your natural curls
Makeup:
- Come with a clean, moisturized face
- Schedule waxing 2–3 days before your wedding
- Haircuts and color? About 1 week out
💋 Can you stay for touch-ups or a second look?
Yes! We offer hourly touch-up services after your initial glam. Time starts once the last service is complete.
💁♀️ Where can I buy clip-in extensions?
We have great recommendations! Send us an email, and we’ll help you find the perfect extensions for your hair length, color, and style.
🛍️ What products do you use?
We use professional, photo-tested products tailored to your skin type and desired style. Some of our favorites include:
TEMPTU, Charlotte Tilbury, NARS, Dior, Hourglass, Makeup by Mario, MAC, Patrick Ta, CHANEL, Kenra, BioIonic, and more.
💌 How do I officially book?
Start by filling out our inquiry form. Once we confirm availability:
Pay your preview pre-payment to hold your date.
Attend your preview session.
After your preview, sign the contract and pay the 25% deposit to secure your wedding day.
We’ll guide you through every step!
🚗 Do you travel outside of Orange County?
Yes! We’re happy to travel beyond Orange County for weddings and events. A travel fee applies based on distance and logistics. Share your getting-ready address when you inquire, and we’ll provide a custom quote.
🎯 Is there a minimum to book on weekends?
Yes. For Friday–Sunday weddings, we require either a $700 minimum or a minimum of 5 services. Weekday weddings and elopements are more flexible—just ask!
💳 Do you charge extra for credit card payments?
Nope! We’ve built payment processing costs into our pricing, so there’s no additional fee for credit card payments.
📅 What if I book my preview and then change my wedding date?
If you reschedule, we’ll do our best to accommodate your new date. Availability may vary. Your preview payment remains non-refundable but can be applied toward services on your rescheduled date if available.
📝 Can I skip a preview altogether?
You can—but we highly recommend it! Skipping your preview means you’re trusting us to create your look for the first time on your wedding day. Most brides feel much more confident after a trial run.
📷 Do you offer a preview for engagement photos?
Absolutely! We can coordinate your preview to match your engagement shoot. Just let us know your date and location when you inquire.
✈️ Do you travel for destination weddings?
Yes, we love destination weddings! Travel fees, accommodations, and minimum bookings apply for destination events. Contact us for a custom quote.
💄 Can I choose a specific artist from your team?
Of course! Let us know if there’s someone whose work you love. We’ll do our best to accommodate your request based on availability.
